• TikTok Account Data: When you connect your TikTok account, we receive your TikTok Open ID, username, and OAuth tokens (access token and refresh token) through TikTok's official API. We use these solely to post videos on your behalf.
• Clerk Authentication: We receive basic identity information from Clerk when you sign in.

1.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and interaction patterns within the Service.
• Device Information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
• Log Data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.

2. How We Use Your Information

3. Third-Party Services

We integrate with the following third-party services to provide the Service:

• Clerk (authentication): Handles user sign-in and identity management. See Clerk's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI (AI processing): Powers script analysis, optimization suggestions, and content generation. Scripts you submit may be processed by OpenAI's API. See OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• TikTok (content posting): Enables posting generated videos to your TikTok account. See TikTok's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Azure (hosting and storage): Our Service and generated video files are hosted on Azure. See Microsoft's Privacy Statement.

4. TikTok Data Practices

When you connect your TikTok account to ClipsInsight:

• We store your TikTok Open ID, username, access token, and refresh token in our secure database.
• Tokens are used exclusively to post videos to your TikTok inbox (drafts) on your behalf.
• We do not access your TikTok followers, messages, likes, or other personal data beyond what is required for video posting.
• We automatically refresh expired tokens to maintain your connection.
• You can disconnect your TikTok account at any time, which permanently deletes your TikTok tokens from our system.
• We do not share your TikTok data with any other third party.

5. Data Storage and Security

• Database: User account data and TikTok tokens are stored in a secured PostgreSQL database hosted on Microsoft Azure with SSL encryption.
• Video Files: Generated videos are stored in Azure Blob Storage. Video files are accessible only via time-limited signed URLs.
• Encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS/HTTPS.
• Access Control: Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel only.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained while your account is active. Deleted upon request.
• Generated Videos: Stored in Azure Blob Storage and retained until you delete them or close your account.
• TikTok Tokens: Retained while your TikTok account is connected. Permanently deleted when you disconnect.
• Script Analysis Data: Processed in real-time and not permanently stored beyond the session unless you save results.
• Log Data: Retained for up to 90 days for debugging and security purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable.
• Disconnect Third-Party Accounts: Disconnect your TikTok account at any time through the Service settings.
